Mental Health First Aid Training is accompanied by a community of fellow Instructor Members and MHFAiders®, supported through the dedicated MHFAider Support App®.
With the app, you can access ongoing support, resources, and any information you need, all included in the course.

Our online and face to face course’s train you as a Youth Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®), giving you:
An in-depth understanding of young people’s mental health and factors that affect wellbeing
Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
Confidence to reassure and support a young person in distress
Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
Knowledge to help a young person recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s through self-help sites, their place of learning, the NHS, or a mix – engaging with parents, carers and external agencies where appropriate
Ability to support a young person with a long term mental health issue or disability to thrive
Tools to look after your own mental wellbeing
Ongoing support - Feeling supported is so important! YMHFAiders® are supported long after they have completed their training, with 24/7 access to resources in MHFA England’s app.

Join our Online Youth Mental Health First Aid course, conducted over two sessions or four facilitated by seasoned trainers from Therapeutic Care. We will guide you through prevalent mental health challenges experienced by young people, offering insights and advice on how to identify and effectively support them. Through practical examples and real-life experiences, you'll gain a deeper understanding of MHFA strategies and their impact.
