Developing playful yet meaningful, sincere and secure relationships which engage our children and young people is key.

The greater the quality of these positive relationships; the greater the positive outcomes for our young people. Engagement is necessary for creating a safe environment where children and young people can feel happy, express themselves without fear, integrate their past experiences with their behaviour in the present, and explore their hopes and goals for the future. We recognise there is no one size fits all approach to engagement, and work hard to nurture, support, and motivate our children and young people in highly individualised ways that meet their unique and personal needs. We are also highly committed to supporting engagement across our people and our teams. Our people are at the heart of everything we achieve at Therapeutic Care and it is crucial they feel valued, connected, and engaged, so they can continue to provide the high quality, consistent and reliable care these children so desperately need.
